Install a computer

In order. Stop on failure — call support.

  1. Club exists

Open . Add it if missing.

  2. Open the club

Work on this club → tools for that venue.

  3. Create setup for this PC

Create POS code for a new PC. Adopt if it is already waiting.

  4. Paste settings on the PC

    Copy from the club workspace.

  5. Restart POS

    Full close, then open again.

  6. Confirm Status

Should go green. Red: power → Wi‑Fi → restart POS.

Data retention

Super admins only. Uses TELEMETRY_RETENTION_DAYS / ACTIVITY_RETENTION_DAYS in fleet .env. Auto job runs too.

Backups

Saved copies of your system. Download one if support asks for it.

How to use this list
  • Source type — choose POS sites for register/API hosts (each row’s source ID is that site’s deployment key), or Fleet main for this fleet server’s own backup, or leave All.
  • Source ID (optional) — narrow to one deployment key (from Merchants / setup codes) or fleet-main for fleet-only rows.
  • Refresh loads the newest files first. Download saves the gzip to your PC for restore testing or archiving.
  • Uploads are triggered from each POS or from fleet’s scheduled self-backup — nothing here creates a backup by itself.

POS API updates (off-hours)

Fleet does not auto-update from Git. Upload POS API packages here, activate a channel, and sites will install only when closed.

On the POS API host, set POS_UPDATER_ENABLED=true and optionally POS_UPDATER_DRY_RUN=true (download + verify + events, no install). When Fleet sets POS_UPDATE_SIGNING_KEY, set matching POS_UPDATE_MANIFEST_VERIFY_KEY on the site.
